We sell our specialty souvenirs which can only be purchased here, such as “Otakara Brown Sugar Manju (manju is steamed bun stuffed with red bean paste)” and “Ohako Mochi”. There are taste of souvenirs of food and tea at the shop front. Sake Manju which is sold every October to May is also very popular.

Otakara Brown Sugar Manju
The most popular souvenir is Brown Sugar Manju with homemade red bean paste. By adding secret ingredients to wheat flour, it is characterized by the dough being soft and moist. The taste is moderately sweet, it is the best Japanese sweets for souvenirs. It is a round shape, because it imagines the ball holding the statue of the fox of Yutoku Inari Shrine.

Ohako Mochi
This is Japanese sweets called Mochi with "Kinako (roasted soybean flour)" on steamed glutinous rice seasoned with brown sugar. We are sticking to Kinako and purchasing it from Kyoto, and it is reputed to be very delicious. In the product name "Ohako", it means the recommendation of the shop. It is a popular souvenir especially for young tourists.

Yokan made with traditional recipes
This is Yokan (sweet bean past jelly) coating the surface with sugar, the outside is crispy and the inside is soft. There are three kinds of taste, Matcha (japanese green tea), Azuki (red beans), and white bean paste. With elegant sweetness, it is recommended for a wide range of age.

From October to May, we sell homemade Sake Manju. This is a steamed bun stuffed with red bean paste and sake material is used for the dough. We started selling it because we wanted to offer hot food to customers during the cold winter season. It is a sweet taste and is recommended for snacks when visiting Yutoku Inari Shrine.
