Kashima Odori (dance) began as a wish for the recovery from the flood damage occurred in Kashima City on July 8, 1962. About 3,000 people dance in total for 2 days, and just watching is also fun. There are 3 types of dancing and it continue dancing for 2 hours. There are street stalls and game corner, and it is crowded with many people from children to adults.
