Located next to Kashima Castle Ruins “Asahigaoka Park”, it is a castle town where beautiful white wall fence spreads. The gate in Kashima Nabeshima clan’s old samurai residence, Tadayuki Hara, is historically very precious and designated as Kajima City Important Cultural Properties. The birthplace of Yoshiharu Tazawa known as the “father of Japanese young men’s associations” is opened as “Tazawa Memorial Hall”, and materials of Yoshiharu Tazawa are displayed.
