It was devastated by the war, and after that the efforts of reconstruction had not been fulfilled for a long time, but in 1913 the restoration was accomplished by Naoyoshi Nabeshima (the 13th lord of the Nabeshima clan) and the local volunteers. Tanjouin Temple is known as the sanctuary for safe delivery of the child and those who want children. In the precincts of the temple, flowers of various seasons such as cherry blossoms and azaleas bloom. If you make a reservation in advance, you can experience copying sutras.
