





It is the highest mountain in the Saga Prefecture located in the prefecture border between Saga and Nagasaki, altitude of the mountain is 1076 meters. Many natural forests remain on the mountain side and beyond, and it is a treasure trove of various plants and animals, it was designated as Tadatake Prefectural Natural Park in Showa 27 (1952). At the top of the mountain you can see the mountains of Taradake, Gokaharadake, Oumura Bay, and Unzendake if the weather is good. It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. Especially when it comes to autumn leaves season, it is crowded with many climbers. The mountain entrance is close to “Okuhiratani Campground”, and climbers make lodging and breaks at “Nature Hall Hiratani” and “Okuhiratani Campground”.
